Stay at the beautiful private island resort of Thatch Caye with a huge salt water pool, unobstructed views of the ocean from your over-the-water bungalow or ocean-view-cabana, air conditioned rooms with private bathrooms and all the amenities you need in a rustic, one-with-nature setting. Enjoy full access to island water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, windsurfing and more - all included in your retreat package and at your disposal anytime during the trip.

The island resort hosts 30 people at the very most at any given time making this a truly unique, private adventure. Participate in as many or as few activities as you'd like - all designed to help you disconnect from the grind and reconnect to your body and your soul.

This hybrid adventure is perfect for someone looking for an active retreat focused on fitness, wellness, good food, good people and adventure with a healthy dose of much deserved down time.

This is not your typical yoga retreat!!

The locations we select and the activities we curate may push you out of your comfort zone, make you face fears and look at how you show up to new and exciting challenges. We work hard, play hard and rest hard. We start to break through patterns that have kept us from our full potential, all while building real friendships for life!

We start the day with a Vinyasa Yoga class every morning and include a daily Metabolic Effect workout class (30 minute high intensity workouts at your own pace).
Based on how activity-packed the day is, we often end with a yin or restorative yoga sesh to recoup after those workouts!

In between, there's:

  • group activities & games

  • learn to stand upside down (handstand/headstand & shenanigans- beginners welcome!)

  • play on the swing right over the salt water "pool" that joins the ocean

  • kayak or paddle board to your heart's content

  • explore the 1 mile long island on foot or a bike

  • challenge yourself with an outdoor rapelling & hiking adventure

  • kick back and read a book or take a nap on one of the many hammocks throughout the property.

Play is a big part of our programs - we believe that dropping the hats we wear and being a kid again brings us back to who we truly are and gives us a chance to look at life with a fresh perspective.

We welcome all ages and all levels of experience. Our classes accessible, challenging, playful and fun for everyone. You don't need to be a yogi or a fitness buff - you just need to be a human being interested in exploring, playing, growing and getting your movement on! Basic familiarity with yoga is recommended but not required. We have organized optional adventures on the mainland of Belize ($225). You'll be able to sign up for this closer to the retreat or on site.

Transportation & Logistics

Since Thatch Caye is on a private island, getting there involves an extra flight and a boat, both included in your retreat package!
Plan to fly into Belize City (BZE) on October 31st arriving before 3:00 pm.
From Belize City, you will board a small plane with other retreaters to Dangriga Airport on a bigger island in Belize. From Dangriga Airport, we will be transferred by boat (approx 25 min ride) to Thatch Caye, to arrive that evening.
All round-trip transfers are included in your package.
Plan to fly out of Belize City on November 6th in the afternoon.

Nathania loves to make yoga playful and accessible no matter how much or how little experience you have. Gary’s workouts are designed for all levels of fitness too. He likes to say that his grandmother and an Olympic athlete could both get a good workout. If you want to dabble in the world of mindfulness and meditation without being TOO serious about it, we've got you.

Our adventures span the realm of cave drops of 300ft in Belize to zip lining on the longest line in Mexico, to jumping from a 50ft pendulum swing or hiking to the top of a volcano in the middle of the night. Our adventures are designed to meet you where you are and help you break through your own mental blocks and self-imposed limits. You can do ANYTHING. Start by doing something daring.
