MARIETTA ISLANDS SNORKELING
Approx. 4 hours total (3 hour tour + 1 hr RT)
A protected national park since the late 1960's, thanks to the activity of an international group of scientists led by Jacques Cousteau, the Marietta Islands are home to an abundant marine life population; massive sea turtles, manta rays and dolphins are not difficult to spot any time of the year. On these rocky volcanic islands, wind and water have created a warren of caverns and coves. Tens of thousands of birds reside on these rocks, with species like the Blue-footed Booby nesting in only two places in the world - the Galapagos Islands and the Marietta Islands.
This tour will take us out for 3 full hours on the ocean, during which we will cruise around the national park so we can have a closer view of the islands, check out caves and birds, snorkel and visit playa Nopalera.
At the end of the 3 hours we will be taken back to Sayulita for lunch all together at a local restaurant.
Cost includes tickets to enter the marine national park, snorkeling equipment, lunch and drinks at the end of the excursion back in town.

TEMAZCAL (SWEAT LODGE)
$35
Approx. 3 hours total
SIGN UP & PAYMENT FOR THIS WILL BE IN PERSON WITH THE RESORT ON THE 1ST DAY.
A temazcal is a traditional Mexican steam bath that is in many ways similar to the Native American sweat lodge. Besides promoting physical well-being and healing, the temazcal is also a ritual and spiritual practice in which traditional healing methods are used to encourage reflection and introspection. While the body rids itself of toxins through sweating, the spirit is renewed through ritual.
The temazcal is thought to represent the womb and people coming out of the bath are, in a symbolic sense, re-born.
Led by a highly intuitive healer, this ceremony will push your limits, test your resolve and connect you deeply to all the other humans having the experience with you.
A truly transformative experience, we highly recommend the Temazcal if you are looking to break through patterns, work on your personal growth and gain fresh perspective and a renewed sense of strength.
